Case Study: Comprehensive Studio Layout

Last week in my comprehensive studio we officially broke into pairs that we will be in for the rest of the semester. We immediately realized that the way that the room was arranged was not remotely conducive to our new needs as partners. What happened next applies to my study of the black box workspace. Everyone began to rearrange all of the furniture to best meet the needs of their individual teams. The result is an arrangement that is great for all teams except 2, and not great for general movement around the room.
